Discover the joy of circus in a welcoming and inclusive environment. Our classes support people of all ages and abilities to build confidence, develop new skills, and connect with others through movement and play.

Join Our Term 2 Classes at Circability Central!

  • Mat Pilates with Ingrid (Age +16)

    Mondays from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm

    A fundraising initiative for you to move your body and support a great cause.

    When you join, you are supporting free inclusive circus programmes that build confidence, connection and belonging across our diverse communities - you are supporting social circus.

  • Inclusive Performance Class (Age 14+)

    Wednesdays from 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm

    All ability levels welcome.

    Explore circus skills in a supportive and inclusive environment designed for participants of varying abilities, including those with physical or intellectual disabilities.

    Build confidence, express creativity, and be part of a collaborative performance space.

  • After School Circus Class (Age 7–13)

    Wednesdays from 3:30 pm to 4:30 pm

    A fun introduction to the world of circus.

    Learn skills like juggling, spinning plates, rings, and more while building confidence, coordination, and teamwork.

    Perfect for beginners and young people starting their circus journey.

  • Juggling Class for Adults (Age 16+)

    Wednesdays from 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm

    Learn the fundamentals of juggling and master the classic three-ball pattern.

    Develop new tricks, patterns, and coordination while expanding your juggling repertoire.

    Practise, improve, and connect with fellow jugglers in a relaxed environment.

  • Circus Jam (Age 16+)

    Wednesdays from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm

    A casual space to practise circus skills with others.

    Work on juggling and object manipulation, exchange tips, and learn new tricks together.

    Connect with the circus community and enjoy a fun, social atmosphere.

  • Tai Chi with Wang Chun (Age 16+)

    Thursdays from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm

    Find your balance and flow in our Tai Chi class for adults 16+. Gentle movements and mindful breathing help you build strength, flexibility, and inner calm—all while supporting Circability’s mission to bring joy and movement to the community.

GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR CLASSES/EVENTS/WORKSHOPS

1. INTRODUCTION
a. Circability is engaged in the business of providing circus programmes and activities. 
b. The Participant wishes to engage with Circability activities, signing up/registering/enrolling for a specific class, event or workshop as selected by the participant.

2. CIRCABILITY OBLIGATIONS
a. Circability shall provide the class/event/workshop as described in the selected class/event/workshop option.
b. Circability shall ensure that the tutors:

i. attend the class/event/workshop punctually at the times arranged except in the cases of accident or illness when Circability will notify the Client as soon as reasonably possible; and
ii. perform to the best of their ability and professional skill; and
iii. will not render any services while affected by alcohol or drugs nor consume any alcohol, drugs, cigarettes or vapes while at the event.
iiii.      are fully vetted prior the start of the class/event/workshop 

c. In the event that any of the tutors are unable to perform at the event, Circability will endeavor to give the client no less than 48 hours notice, and will suggest alternative tutors. If the client does not wish to have those alternative tutors perform at the class/event, they shall be entitled to cancel this agreement without payment of the fee.
d. Circability will be responsible for any personal or public liability insurance and ACC cover which it considers appropriate.

3. PARTICIPANT OBLIGATIONS
a. Participants shall:
i. attend class/event/workshop punctually at the times arranged except in the cases of accident or illness when the participant will notify Circability as soon as reasonably possible; and
ii. perform to the best of his/her behavior; and
iii. will not participate whilst affected by alcohol or drugs and not consume any alcohol, drugs, cigarettes or vapes while at the class/event/workshop.
b. In the event that participants are unable to attend the class/event/workshop, participants are asked to endeavor to give no less than 24 hours notice.

4. PAYMENTS & FEES
a. The client agrees to pay the total fee on the date indicated on the invoice.
b. An invoice will be issued and sent to the name and details provided in the form
c. In the event of cancellation of the event or the services under this agreement by the client (for reasons other than set out in clause 2c), if the client informs Circability less than 24 hours (one day) prior to the class start time Circability will retain the full fee.

5. HEALTH & SAFETY
Circability provides a safe working environment for the tutors and will inform participants of all potential risks to the health or safety of the participants.
Circability holds a current Risk and Management Form (RAMS) for the activities and runs the activities according to the safe standards in this form. To consult Circability’s most recent version please contact office@circability.org.nz 
The Client shall provide information about participants with any conditions (namely infectious diseases) we need to be aware of when taking part in our classes.

6. PHOTOGRAPHY FOR PROMOTIONAL MATERIAL
Photos taken in the classes, workshops and performances may be used for marketing and promotional purposes. Please let us know if you wish not to have the participant’s photos used.

7. TERMINATION
Seven days notice is required for termination of class enrollments. Circability reserves the right to retain class fee if student registration is cancelled within seven days.
