At Circability, we celebrate inclusiveness...
We are Circ-Ability Arts; a unique and award-winning Circus Arts organisation, improving lives through 'inclusion in action' reaching over 5,000 New Zealanders a year. We deliver circus arts classes, community events and workshops for all ages and abilities across the Auckland region and Northland, using circus as a tool for developing personal confidence and physical literacy, for connecting people and sharing joy.
A particular focus of our work is developing inclusion programmes for people with disabilities -
using circus as an agent for social change.
We also hold classes and workshops at Circability Central, and mobile classes in schools, kindergartens
and the disability sector.
We offer three core Circus Arts programmes:
● Power of Inclusion (POI)
● Social workshops, participation, performances
Our circus arts programmes provide over 400 opportunities across the Auckland and Northland regions.
We help people of all abilities, in all our communities, by providing social impact circus arts and
intervention-based activities that directly address social needs. We do this by increasing the confidence, energy, creativity and aspiration of people through the joy of discovery.
We put a smile on everybody’s face!
